We adhere to the teachings of Jesus the Messiah through Messianic Judaism:
From the Desk of the Community Leader
Shalom Aleichem (peace on to you), who is seeking spiritual Knowledge of our Lord Jesus the Messiah (Yeshua HaMashiach.)
In the Bible, it urges us to be like Christ. We can only accomplish this by doing the things Christ did. My goal as a Messianic Judaism Community Leader (Rabbi/Teacher) is to help build bridges of understanding between both Messianic Judaism and the Christian Church. The House of Adonai seeks to help the “True Christian believer” rediscover its Jewish roots through scripture and the Jewish Messiah Jesus (Yeshua.)
The House of Adonai is a community of people that practice a faith or belief that closely resembles Christianity but intentionally excludes many of the pagan traditions that have been incorporated into mainstream Christianity at its inception. This inclusion was done in an effort to appeal to pagan worshipers, to bring them into the faith.
Instead, Messianic Judaism focuses on reincorporating and explaining the God Appointed times and instructions on how to live a life pleasing to God, as given by God (Adonai) and followed by Jesus (Yeshua) in the Bible. It's important to note that the House of Adonai does not adhere to or promote any cult ideology; rather, it relies solely on the Bible as its source of authority.
What exactly is Messianic Judaism?
Essentially, it represents a return to the practices of the earliest followers of Yeshua (Jesus), who were known as "The Way" (Acts 9:1-2). The disciples, Paul, and their followers were referred to as followers of "The Way." In Antioch, they were specifically called Messianic, signifying their identity as followers of the Messiah or Christ. In essence, Messianic Judaism is a faith that seeks to align closely with the beliefs and practices of these early followers of Jesus (Yeshua.)
